Let\'s start with the role The Public Policy & Government Affairs team operates across a wide and diverse spectrum of functions, including government relations, policy expertise on various issues, risk and crisis management, outreach, partnerships, and coalition-building. The team’s mission is to design and advocate for effective solutions to critical gaming and technology challenges, fostering a political, legislative, and regulatory landscape that protects people while also encouraging growth and innovation for our business. Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of public policy strategies to advance Kaizen Gaming\'s commercial objectives in Brasilia, primarily within the Legislative Branch; Monitor and analyse political and legislative developments affecting the online betting sector, providing insights and suggestions for action plans; Interact with legislators and authorities to defend Kaizen Gaming\'s positions and interests in relation to public policy matters; Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Legal, Compliance, Responsible Gaming, AML, and Communications, to align business objectives with public policy goals; Support relationship-building efforts in Brasilia with legislators, policymakers, and professionals from the online gambling industry; Assist in the preparation and delivery of written reports, summaries, and presentations to effectively communicate public and regulatory affairs issues to internal and external stakeholders; Represent Kaizen Gaming in meetings in Brasilia, industry forums, and institutions, such as associations; Manage the relationship with consultancies; Assist in crisis management efforts from a public policy perspective, developing mitigation strategies as needed. Qualifications Degree in Law, Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations or a related field; At least two years of professional experience in government relations, public policy or related areas, preferably in regulated sectors - working for the tech industry is a plus; Excellent judgement, persuasion and lobbying skills, creativity and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and often uncertain environment; Knowledge of legislative processes in Brazil, with established relationships in the public policy community; Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, with the ability to build and maintain influential networks; Excellent writing skills; A proven record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams, adopting a cooperative and solution-oriented approach; Fluency in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written.
