**Boeing Brazil** is seeking **Payloads (Interiors) Mechanical & Structural Engineering Manager**, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager at Boeing Brazil, working out of the **Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil** office. The **Payloads Mechanical & Structural Engineering Manager** will lead high-performing engineering teams providing a variety of technical solutions and complex project oversight in support of existing and future products.
The position will manage a team of engineers responsible for the following statements of work.
Boeing Global Services - Commercial Modifications (Payloads and Interiors)
**Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Ability to support, lead, and delegate to a team of multiple Engineering tasks through all stages of the commercial airplane modification program life cycle
- Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
- Support Modifications strategies for all businesses: Interiors, Connectivity/VIP, Avionics, and AP&S (Airplane Performance and Systems)
- Coordination with internal Boeing Program Management external Airline / Modification customers
- Mentoring and training new engineers
- Coordination with internal Boeing Supplier Management external Suppliers
- Position requires close coordination and teaming with other internal and external Engineering teams

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:
- Fluent in both written and verbal English
- Must be legally able to work in Brazil
- Experience in Payloads (Interiors) Engineering
- Experience leading teams
- Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering
**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:
- Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
- Prior Management experience
- Experience supporting Commercial Aftermarket Modifications
- Experience in Payloads (Interiors) Engineering
- Knowledge of FAA Regulations
- Knowledge of Boeing 15.4 Certification Processes
