OverviewAssociate Structural Design Engineer at Boeing Brazil, reporting to the Brazil Structures Manager, working out of the São José Dos Campos office.The role supports the primary and secondary structure of the 7 series Boeing Fleets.Position ResponsibilitiesGuides product design, develops, integrates and documents structural and interior payload requirements to establish the system design.Develops, maintains and modifies structural and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.Develops new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.Must have a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace / Aeronautical, Civil, or Material Science Engineering.Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)Relevant experience with validating or verifying structural models.Relevant experience with structural design principles for aircraft.Relevant experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Relevant experience with design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials.Programming Skills.RelocationRelocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.Additional InformationThis requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil.Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.Please also submit a CV or resume written in English.Applications for this position will be accepted through October 18, 2025.Language RequirementsEnglish PreferredEducationBachelor's Degree or Equivalent RequiredVisa SponsorshipEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer.We do not accept unlawful discrimination in our recruitment or employment practices on any grounds including but not limited to race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, genetic factors, military and veteran status, or other characteristics covered by applicable law.We have teams in more than 65 countries and are committed to diversity and inclusion.Applicants may request accommodations during the recruitment process.#J-18808-Ljbffr
