Investment Associate Analyst

We’re looking for an Investment Associate to join our New Venture Fund in Brazil. In this role, you’ll be responsible for deal sourcing, analyzing specific companies for investment, executing on due diligence, and partnering with our ZX portfolio companies.
**Responsabilidades e atribuições** Source Prospective Investments & Evaluate Deals**
- Assist in sourcing companies for investment
- Build investment theses and financial models
- Perform industry and competitive analysis consistent with ZX New Venture Investment thesis verticals
- Preparation of investment committee materials and presenting ideas to the company leadership and the IC
- Conduct due diligence on potential early stage investments & start-ups by working with management teams, industry experts, and other third party advisors
- Assist in all aspects of execution and financing of transactions
- Help build the ZX Network; outreach with potential investments, other VC firms, industry experts, and founders
**Financial Analysis & Stakeholder Management**
- Provide ongoing monitoring of assets in the fund’s portfolio & prepare internal presentation materials
**Requisitos e qualificações**
- Strong interest in startups and venture capital
- Progressive investment experience (venture capital, private equity, or investment banking)
- Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated
- Strong knowledge of Excel including advanced functions
- Experience with financial modeling, financial statements, cash flow analysis and investment valuation techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including Powerpoint experience
- Demonstrated facility in all financial aspects of transaction related work is an asset
