The Center offers programs for families and children from first to seventh grade, including a kindergarten, a playground, after-school activities, a children's vegetable garden, and a soup kitchen that serves the kindergarten and neighborhood. The organization was founded in 1994 as a soup kitchen, with the kindergarten started by local mothers a few years later.

Role Details

The kindergarten operates from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, welcoming and educating local children. The volunteer can assist teachers with activities, play with children, help with meals, aid in cleaning, and perform other supportive tasks. This role provides an opportunity to learn about teaching methods and to engage in cultural exchange with local residents and Voluntario Global volunteers.

The volunteer provides practical support and cultural exchange, learning about social diversity and sharing ideas to improve kindergarten organization. The setting offers energy-rich interactions with children and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Community Impact

The project supports families facing infrastructure and public health challenges, with areas including sanitation, water access, and housing quality.
