This role requires a high level of organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage visa and work permit applications. The successful candidate will partner with vendors and government agencies to expedite processing in priority regions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee visa and immigration operations, including tracking progress and resolving issues
- Collaborate with vendors and government agencies to enhance processing efficiency in key regions
- Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and implement compliance protocols
- Identify and mitigate risks related to overstays, document expiry, or status violations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding visa and immigration inquiries
- Develop comprehensive guides for common immigration scenarios
- Implement automation for renewal reminders, document collection, and reporting dashboards
- Streamline workflows using mobility platforms and propose efficiency improvements
- Provide expert advice on immigration requirements to HRBPs and Talent Acquisition
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, International Relations, or Law
- At least 5 years of experience in global immigration operations (in-house or consultancy)
- Thorough understanding of key regions' immigration frameworks and regulations
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is desired
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment
