We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Technical Sourcer to join our dynamic Sourcing team. In this role, you will collaborate with other members of our Sourcing team and key stakeholders to develop and refine a strategic sourcing approach that attracts top technical experts. We are looking for someone passionate about creating exceptional candidate experiences, has a proven track record in recruiting top technical talent, and is excited to work collaboratively across various teams. Responsibilities- You will be responsible for developing and tuning a rigorous sourcing strategy designed to identify top software development experts and creating a stable pipeline of high-quality global talent.
- You will identify, reach out, and attract relevant professionals to drive the strategic growth of Toptal’s technical talent community by working closely with both the Matching team and the Screening team to figure out the dynamic sourcing priority.
- You will monitor and maintain a consistent pipeline of candidates.
- You will work with the Talent Acquisition Lead to grow sourcing operations, develop and implement process playbooks, and meet KPIs to seamlessly ensure efficient and scalable operations.
- You will use cutting-edge tools, internally developed, to supercharge your sourcing efforts.
- In the first week, expect to onboard and integrate into Toptal and undergo role-specific training including procedures and tools used within the Sourcing team.
- In the first month, expect to identify opportunities to penetrate the global market for specific sourcing requests and begin outlining the global talent sourcing strategy with a strong candidate pipeline.
- In the first three months, expect to build and refine a sourcing strategy, test and analyze results, and implement data-driven improvements; establish and maintain a stable candidate pipeline that yields high-revenue candidates who pass screening and engage with clients.
- In the first six months, expect to fine-tune the sourcing strategy and consistently deliver results by identifying top global talent.
- In the first year, expect to work with a team, run the sourcing efforts with discretion and independent judgment, and own global sourcing management.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 3+ years of experience sourcing or recruiting global technical talent with a proven track record.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter with experience using advanced features for candidate research, outreach, and pipeline management.
- Thorough understanding of the global talent pool and global sourcing strategies.
- An eye for talent and understanding of differences in knowledge and expertise between highly skilled developers and average talent.
- Ability to proactively find and assess meetup groups, attend events, and network.
- Ability to identify opportunities to present at developer meetups.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with strong command of English.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Ability to communicate clearly with teams via Slack and other collaboration tools.
- Remote work experience preferred.
