Senior Accountant, Hyatt of Brazil

Summary**The Opportunity**Hyatt seeks a self-motivated senior accountant to join its Hyatt of Mexico accounting and finance team. Responsibilities include the preparation of most deliverables within the Hyatt monthly and quarterly close process. This includes the preparation of account reconciliations and journal entries, preparation of payroll and vendor invoices, preparation of management fee calculations and associated billings to hotels, assistance with preparing the annual budget and coordinating with auditors, outside tax counsel, and other corporate departments. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the enhancement of internal controls and participating in special projects that incorporate a wide range of accounting exposure and working closely with the Accounting Manager.**Who We Are**At Hyatt, we believe in the power of belonging and creating a culture of care, where our colleagues become family. This includes preparation and review of sample work, monthly and quarterly sample work, and analytics across sample functions.
