Salesforce Tech Leader
**Scope/Categories**:
Role will report to a Senior Manager in the Engineering & Applications organization. Role will have direct reports. Key Interfaces: Functional Engineer, Business Client, Data & Analytics team, Solution Engineers. Enterprise Architects. and Project Managers. External Interfaces: Consultants, 3rd Party providers. Travel may include approximately 15% of work time.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Identify technology opportunities which provide strategic/tactical advantages in planning, managing and conducting the business.
- Engage with key customers and other external business partners to deliver IT solutions in a high quality, globally conscience manner. Represents the face of IT to the customer.
- Provides Business Technology thought leadership, bringing knowledge and solutions to drive business outcomes. Thinks ‘digital’ and embraces next generation ways of doing work.
- Leads others to complete Continuous Improvements (CI) initiatives; consults and shares knowledge across organization.
- Ensure insight and understanding of “best practices” and keeping pace with competition and peer companies.
- Participate in the executive Community of Practice calls with business partners and stakeholders as appropriate and needed.
**Key Qualifications and Experiences**:
- Bachelor's degree a plus
- 7+ years of equivalent experience in information technology leading remote, global teams and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Engineering & Applications space.
- Expert understanding on Service Cloud and Sales Cloud required
- Knowledge on Communities and Field Service is a plus
- Knowledge on Continues Delivery (CI/CD) and Back Up practices are expected
- Experience working with outsource partners
- Demonstrated skills in solution delivery, client relationship management, keen sense of urgency in delivering results, business knowledge, intuition and judgment, high cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity, effective communication/collaboration.
- Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, vendors, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources.
- Strong service delivery skills.
- Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory. Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines.
