Position Summary

The Account Manager, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) will join our Brazil Sales team to help ensure we make OEMs’ lives easier, more productive, and more successful. In this position you will report to the Sales Manager, OEM and be based in our office in Joinville (SC) or Curitiba (PR).

Responsibilities
  • Become the expert your customers need. Understand their applications, standards/regulations and drivers & trends, organization and how things get done, what they want to accomplish and how our offerings and partner capabilities will help them achieve those goals.
  • Own it. Manage the strategy for growing your accounts and coordinate with your extended team to support you.
  • Develop into a trusted advisor. Understand clients’ processes, business drivers and organization model to offer application knowledge, industry expertise and guidance on strategic initiatives.
  • Influence decisions. Qualify customer opportunities, engage resources, and coordinate solution design and presentation to help the customer choose our solution for the right reasons.
  • Collaborate. Work with Industry Managers, broader account team, senior management and a technical engagement team to plan for and win opportunities.
  • Look ahead. Use the Dynamics CRM system to maintain accurate assessments of targets and opportunities in the funnel.
  • Negotiate. Partner with colleagues in pricing, discounts, contracts and negotiations to offer favorable terms and obtain agreements and prices to support proposals.
  • Support and manage. Conduct customer/internal account reviews and manage internal/external partner expectations.
  • Global Coordination. Communicate with Rockwell’s teams in Europe, USA and Asia as needed to support the local strategy.
Essentials – You Will Have
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English.
  • 3+ years of technical expertise in OEMs.
  • Experience working in partnership with distributors and system integrators.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell at senior management & executive levels, focusing on business outcomes and economic value of our products.

  • Disruptive Industrial Technologies Mindset.
  • Working knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things technologies.
  • IoT / IIoT / Software / Annual Recurring Revenue-Subscription model experience including customer success organizations.
