What You’ll Do Participate in agile software development practices and contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery Maintain close communication with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment Design and develop high‑quality backend solutions using Java Quarkus (and Spring Boot when required) Build and maintain cloud‑native services within AWS environments Support and maintain the production environment, ensuring system reliability and uptime Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and deliver clean, scalable code Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) What You’ll Bring Strong experience with Java development (Java 8–11) Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch Practical knowledge of relational databases, specifically MySQL Experience building microservices using Java Quarkus and/or Spring Boot Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and incoming requests Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and business teams Nice to Have English communication skills (not mandatory) Familiarity with REST architecture and API best practices Clear, structured communication — able to explain technical concepts to all audiences Strong teamwork and collaboration with diverse, cross‑functional teams Critical thinking and logical problem‑solving skills Proactive attitude — ability to take initiative without detailed instructions Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools/technologies Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality Legal & Hiring Information Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
