THE POSITION We are looking for a Payroll Manager with strong experience in payroll processes, solid knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation, and expertise in ADP (eSocial, ADP Expert). This role is responsible for ensuring a precise, secure, and “zero-surprise” payroll operation, supporting internal and external audits, leading continuous improvements, and acting as a strategic partner to the People, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle: hiring, employee changes, monthly processing, charges, ancillary obligations, and closing. Ensure compliance with labor, social security, and tax legislation, as well as internal policies. Serve as the focal point for the ADP system, ensuring correct configurations, change control, testing, and integration with other corporate systems. Monitor payroll KPIs and SLAs, ensuring accuracy and on-time payments. Act as a strategic partner to Finance and Controllership, supporting month-end closing, reconciliations, provisions, and audits. Manage the interface with external vendors (ADP and others), ensuring deliverables and contractual compliance. Act as the technical expert for internal inquiries regarding calculations, legislation, and business rules. Ensure a positive employee experience with clear, assertive, and customer‑oriented communication. YOUR PROFILE Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Law, or related fields. Proven experience with ADP (ADP Expert). Strong knowledge of labor and social security legislation. Experience with eSocial (periodic and non-periodic events). Experience in medium to large-scale operations (preferably 500+ employees). Previous experience leading payroll teams. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Experience with internal and external audits. Ability to operate hands‑on while maintaining a strategic mindset. Right to work in Brazil. Fluent in English (spoken and written) Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written) Ability to re‑locate to Rio de Janeiro. #J-18808-Ljbffr
