Indirect Tax Specialist The role of the Indirect Tax Specialist is to ensure compliance with local and international tax laws while optimizing the company's tax position. Key responsibilities include managing indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning to ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns. The Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with current legislation and minimizing the tax burden; Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, etc. Monitor tax compliance processes and work closely with internal accounting and finance teams to ensure tax obligations are met; Manage and respond to federal, state, and municipal tax audits, including coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities. Key qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law. Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred. Experience in indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning; Knowledge in Tax reform; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with different stakeholders; Language: Fluent in Portuguese (native proficiency). Fluent in English (written & spoken) – must liaise with global teams.
