**The Tax Assistant at BW Energy (BWE) in Brazil is responsible for the following tasks**:

- Assisting in calculating direct (“IRPJ and “CSLL) and indirect taxes and preparing tax returns.
- Calculating the withholdings taxes due over the supplier invoices
- Keeping the Clearance Certificate (Municipal, State, Federal) up to date.
- Managing the Digital Certificates for the companies and Administrator.
- Validating tax obligations and reconciling tax information.
- Collaborating with Accounting and Finance Team to ensure accurate tax calculations and returns.
- Assisting in preparing tax requirements and documentation for tax incentives.
- Assisting in liaising with Tax Authorities and government agencies regarding tax assessments, audits, and related issues.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled or a graduate in accounting or law.
- Tax experience in an accounting/law firm and/or industry, preferably in an E&P corporation.
- Understanding of tax obligations.
- Proficiency in working with ERP systems.
- Proficiency in English is advantageous.
