Product Sales Specialist – Filtration is responsible for supporting all relevant call points across Bioprocess where Filtration Consumables products are sold. Provide support to Account Managers with expert product knowledge, training and support, while working to generate sales from new and existing customers. This role should be able to evaluate a customer's process to identify solutions and provide the necessary tools, information and support to obtain additional sales and identify new opportunities. This position reports to the Filtration leader and is part of the Bioprocess Filtration team located in Sao Paulo, Brazil and will be fully remote to cover Brazil region.

What you will do:

  • Contribute information to sales strategies and account plans as part of the core account team.
  • Focus on Filtration Consumables opportunities and related single-use designs within the region; support all Filtration Consumables Products and process-related single-use technologies.
  • Provide product expertise to Account Managers in the sales process and independently identify opportunities.
  • Develop sales of modality solutions, establish long-lasting technical customer relationships.
  • Provide high-level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, tenders/quotes, and promotional events; lead technical discussions and provide applicative support including troubleshooting and answering technical queries.
  • Develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets; manage leads and prospects in CRM.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry, life sciences, engineering or a relevant field.
  • 3 years of commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
  • Strong commercial and technical skills; ability to build and maintain a robust network.
  • Advanced English and Spanish.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • Ability to travel – at least 50% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 12 kg
  • Nice-to-have: experience with SFDC/CRM
