The Associate Director, Market Access role at CSL offers a unique opportunity to drive business growth and expand access to life-saving therapies.
The OpportunityAs the Associate Director, Market Access, you will collaborate with international markets to develop pharmacoeconomics and value dossiers that support business objectives in Brazil. You will work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and medical, to identify access hurdles and prioritize strategies to mitigate barriers.
You will develop and execute market access strategies to support key business objectives in Brazil, working with patient associations, government institutions, medical societies, and other stakeholders to collect information for technology assessments. Your goal will be to expand reimbursement in both public and private markets for CSL's product portfolio.
To succeed in this role, you will require a high level of competency in product knowledge, rare disease expertise, and understanding of the Brazilian health market. You will influence key opinion leaders and authorizers to adopt new CSL products.
The Role- Create and adapt value dossiers for CSL Behring brands in the Brazilian market, developing local tools to support strategy implementation.
- Develop market access strategies and plans with marketing and medical teams to ensure pricing and reimbursement targets for effective launch and/or access.
- Implement integrated actions plans with marketing, sales, and medical teams to promote products to auditors, authorizers, and gatekeepers of formularies.
- Map and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in public and private healthcare to address business cases and studies for better reimbursement flow.
- Ensure compliance with CRBP, ABAC, HCO, and GHS policies, identifying potential issues to the company.
- Implement market access plans in designated geographies.
- Ensure compliance with CSL Behring BRZ and global SOPs, policies, and quality system requirements, including prompt reporting of adverse reactions and product complaints.
- Complete required training and maintain personal training records.
- Assist in field actions as needed, determined by the Recall Team.
- Ensure customer contact and promotional activities comply with ANVISA legislation and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in science or mathematical fields; courses in administration, health, regulatory affairs, or related fields are valued. Post-graduation in pharmaco-economic areas is a plus.
- Fluent English skills (written, reading, and speaking).
- At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, market access, or marketing.
- Multinational pharmaceutical company experience preferred.
- Specialty Care, Rare Diseases, or Hospital products experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with pharmaco-economic tools and models.
