Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Analyze technical documentation from sales and clients to detail the scope of electrical projects.
  • Support planning and develop project schedules.
  • Review applicable technical and normative documentation (NBR, NR, IEC, etc.).
  • Define project documentation, standards, and typical electrical project practices.
  • Specify and size drives for motor control and automation hardware.
  • Design and specify industrial networks (Ethernet, DeviceNet, Profibus DP/PA, Modbus, ASi, Profinet, etc.).
  • Prepare engineering documentation, including automation architecture, I/O lists, load lists, electrical component lists, panel specifications, and delivery terms.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, issue purchase requests, and register materials in SAP.
  • Ensure projects comply with current installation standards.
  • Assist electrical design team in material sizing and specification.
  • Review electrical installation projects and support panel commissioning and validation.
  • Support hiring and supervision of third-party electrical assembly and installation teams.
Your Profile / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or Industrial Automation.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in industrial projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of national and international technical standards (NR10, NR12, NBR5410, ISA5.1, IEC61439, etc.).
  • Experience in electrical panel design (Low Voltage).
  • Experience with drives, automation hardware, and industrial networks.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and ERP systems (SAP).
  • Advanced English (mandatory); intermediate Spanish (desirable).
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, willing to travel.
  • Independent, self-motivated, with an analytical mindset, critical thinking, proactivity, and teamwork skills.
