Join to apply for the Sr Electrical Engineer role at GEA Group . Responsibilities / TasksAnalyze technical documentation from sales and clients to detail the scope of electrical projects. Support planning and develop project schedules. Review applicable technical and normative documentation (NBR, NR, IEC, etc.). Define project documentation, standards, and typical electrical project practices. Specify and size drives for motor control and automation hardware. Design and specify industrial networks (Ethernet, DeviceNet, Profibus DP/PA, Modbus, ASi, Profinet, etc.). Prepare engineering documentation, including automation architecture, I/O lists, load lists, electrical component lists, panel specifications, and delivery terms. Coordinate with suppliers, issue purchase requests, and register materials in SAP. Ensure projects comply with current installation standards. Assist electrical design team in material sizing and specification. Review electrical installation projects and support panel commissioning and validation. Support hiring and supervision of third-party electrical assembly and installation teams. Your Profile / QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or Industrial Automation. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in industrial projects. Advanced knowledge of national and international technical standards (NR10, NR12, NBR5410, ISA5.1, IEC61439, etc.). Experience in electrical panel design (Low Voltage). Experience with drives, automation hardware, and industrial networks. Proficiency in CAD tools and ERP systems (SAP). Advanced English (mandatory); intermediate Spanish (desirable). Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure, willing to travel. Independent, self-motivated, with an analytical mindset, critical thinking, proactivity, and teamwork skills.
