We're looking for a talented and passionate Game Designer & Game Lead to join Wildlife's New Games team . Wildlife is constantly building and releasing new titles with the goal of bringing fun to billions of people around the world. The company has already surpassed 4 billion downloads. The New Games Product team is responsible for defining which new games will be produced and building these products in partnership with engineers and artists. These products will drive the company's growth in the coming years.

As a Wildlife Game Designer & Game Lead , you will define new game theses to be validated by the executive team and be accountable for the game's vision throughout the development cycle, from prototyping to global launch. You will leverage player feedback, data analysis, and sound business judgment to enhance game performance.

What you'll do
  1. Propose new game theses based on market research that can entertain millions for years.
  2. Define the game's vision and product roadmap, adapting it as more data is gathered.
  3. Design key features and write detailed specifications.
  4. Collaborate with art and distribution teams to define the game theme and art style.
  5. Review design decisions made by artists and engineers.
  6. Coordinate deliverables across the core team and related disciplines (engineering, art, distribution, data science).
  7. Provide leadership in product and game design, utilizing experience, competitor analysis, playtests, player feedback, and data insights.
  8. Analyze performance metrics of new versions and features, refining the roadmap accordingly.
What you'll need
  1. Experience in product or game design roles within game development, including shipping games on any platform or leading development in game jams or hackathons.
  2. A passion for games, with personal experience as a player.
  3. Flexibility to work in iterative development cycles with frequent releases.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
  1. Experience shipping mobile games.
  2. Programming skills for independent prototype development.
  3. Experience with AI tools for art creation or programming.
