Overview

Our client is looking for a ServiceNow Portal Developer to design, build, and maintain portals using Service Portal (AngularJS) and Next Experience / UI Builder. This professional will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, ensuring user experience, performance, and scalability in a highly visible and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain portals in Service Portal and UI Builder.
  • Build widgets / components (AngularJS, HTML / CSS), themes, and responsive layouts.
  • Implement data access via Script Includes, GlideAjax, client / server scripts.
  • Integrate with App Engine data, Catalog, and Record Producers.
  • Ensure security (ACLs, roles), performance, and compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Document architecture, technical flows, release notes, and handovers.
Must-have Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Service Portal (AngularJS) and Next Experience / UI Builder.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with REST integrations.
  • Solid knowledge of responsive design and accessibility best practices.
Nice-to-have
  • Certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM / CSM.
  • Collaboration experience with UX / UI Designers (e.g., Figma).
  • Background in custom application development.
