Senior iOS Engineer – Responsibilities
  • Define and evolve technical standards for iOS applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging iOS technologies and frameworks to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the convergence of legacy systems into modern platforms and tools.
  • Implement security and privacy best practices for sensitive data in mobile apps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including Product Managers, Designers, and QA, to deliver high-quality products.
  • Drive process and system improvements with a focus on long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Stay updated with trends in iOS development and mobile ecosystems, experimenting with new ideas and solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Significant experience in iOS software development, system integration, and mobile app delivery.
  • Proficiency in Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI, and experience with Apple development tools (Xcode, Instruments).
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, design patterns, and data structures.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
Employment & Compensation
  • Contract type: Permanent (CLT) or B2B (PJ)
  • Salary (hourly) - B2B /Freelancer: 150-200 BRL /hour
  • Salary (annual) - Employment: 140,000–200,000 BRL gross + 13th salary + holiday pay
