Linux System Administrator Position

Job Summary:

  • This is a unique opportunity for a skilled system administrator to join our organization.
  • The successful candidate will lead the management of Linux environments, installations, patching, migrations, and scripting (Shell & Perl).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and maintain complex Linux systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  2. Collaborate with IT teams to identify and resolve technical issues across various platforms, including Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, and AIX.
  3. Develop and implement best practices for system administration, providing coaching and guidance to team members.
  4. Work closely with monitoring systems and ITIL-based tools to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Linux system administration, with expertise in Shell and Perl scripting.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
