SR OPERATION RISK ANALYST (Nº DO VAGA: BRA )
**Descrição**:
The Operations OPC Brazil is responsible for proposing & substantiating a dedicated control framework (incl. RCSA, Control Plans), managing any operational risk incidents within the perimeter and establishing permanent control actions (incl. compliance with reg. requirements, follow up on recommendations, track policies & procedures, etc.)
The Operational Risk & Permanent Control (“OPC”) is a key component of the first line of defense. Its main activities enclose the management of:
(1) Operational Risk, i.e. the risk resulting from the inadequacy or failure of internal processes or external events, whether deliberate, accidental or natural that has led, could lead or could have led in a loss, a gain or an opportunity cost.
(2) Permanent Controls, i.e. all mitigation measures taken by the operational management in order to ensure objectives are reached and risk is under control consistently with the risk appetite
The OPC operates and/or coordinates the entity's Operational and Permanent Control framework related to all operational risks, including Fraud, Third Party, Conduct, Compliance, Regulatory, ICT risks, and others risks types in collaboration with other specialized independent control functions.
**As part of BNP Paribas objectives concerning the OPC activities are**:
(1) Mobilize everyone around Operational Risk & Permanent Control management.
(2) Reduce the probability of occurrence of Operational Risk events that may impact on: Reputation, Confidence, Quality, Profitability and/or Efficiency
This position reports to the CIB ITO OPC Brazil.
**AVP OPC Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Support in managing the Operational Risk Historical Incidents
- Collaborate with the Operational Procedures database support
- Coordination of controls implementation, collection and analysis of control results
- Audit Recommendations follow-up
- Coordination of Operational risk identification and assessment
- Coordination of Exceptional Transaction and New Activity Validation committees (TAC/NAC)
- Coordination of Third Party Risk Management Framework (incl. SLA coordination)
- Collaborate with the awareness program development and support for OPC topics
- Support the CIB ITO OPC Brazil Head in projects to deadline and to specification
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones
- Proactively manage changes in the scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans
**Qualificações
**Required Qualifications**:
- Fluent English
- Hold an higher education
- Experience within financial services industry
- Energetic, engaging and highly motivated
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills across borders and cultures
- Ability to work closely with the front office, stakeholders and partners
- Experience in day-to-day interaction with supervisor bodies and internal control groups
- Ability to take initiative under pressure while inspiring team members to improve processes
- Proponent of continuous improvement processes with the ability to challenge the status quo; a change agent
