This position will be part of the oil and gas field operations team, being a key role to perform production control, monitoring, and optimization of Golfinho Field, offshore Brazil. Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of operational and production reports using best practices Actively contribute to the implementation of digitalization initiatives within the production team Track and classify production activities and losses and follow-up the root-cause analysis of production losses to define corrective actions to restore production Contribute to identification of gaps to operational envelopes and work in conjunction with multidisciplinary team to implement corrective actions Support the well test planning and execution Contribute to execution of optimization projects such as chemical and gas fuel optimization Contribute to production performance reviews Contribute to analysis of management of changes; ensure queries are identified and directed to the management team; actively participate and raise risk assessment exercises such as HAZID/HAZOP by providing technical advice and following-up mitigation plans Be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team While working offshore: Execute troubleshoot procedures, leading problem solving to restore production Monitor, analyze production performance and identify gaps to production potential and targets; execute and contribute to the surveillance plan offshore Focal point aboard of the FPSO for subsea and well intervention activities when necessary Actively participated in incident/accident investigations using root-cause analysis methodology Actively participate in root-cause analysis of production losses events Education Bachelor's Degree in any field of Engineering; preferably Petroleum Engineering Experience +3 years of experience in production engineering field and oil and gas operations in deepwater environment, preferably in brownfield environment; Wellsite experience is a plus Skilled in executing wells’ start-up / shut-down procedures and in production optimization (e.g.: artificial lift optimizations such as gas lift and MOBO/ESP) Knowledge of flow assurance aspects of deepwater fields; production accounting and well testing programming; well and subsea integrity management Experience with production surveillance tools and software (e.g.: SCADA, PI).
