Field Service Engineer at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher company — remote in Brazil

In this role, you will provide daily service support for the existing customer base, support sales growth, service growth and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for repair, installation, and maintenance of Beckman Coulter equipment at customer sites.

This position reports to the Service Supervisor and is part of the Service organization located in Brazil and will be fully remote.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
  • Build KPIs to constantly challenge your individual performance to meet service targets established as part of the performance objectives
  • Promote strong interaction with operational areas of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences — Applications, Marketing & Administration and Sales
  • Establish and maintain relationships at all levels with customers to leverage contacts, information and maximize their experience
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Biological
  • 3+ years of prior field service experience in diagnostics / research field is required
  • Fluency in English (written and conversational) and valid visa for the USA
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
  • Able to travel 50-75% of the time (mostly domestic within Brazil, eventually for the US for training)
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 66 pounds (about 30 kg)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in working with:

  • Flow Cytometry
  • Liquid Handling
  • Centrifuge
