**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Facilitates the implementation of systems, programs, tools, and processes designed to improve management and employee performance, productivity, engagement, and results.- Maintains Human Resource Information System records with accuracy and timeliness including full responsibility for data entry of new employees, ensuring accurate separation data, and reconciling HR and Accounting database discrepancies.- Assists with benefits administration particularly during open enrollment.- Liaise with outside vendors for HR systems.- Assists with the processing on weekly and semi-monthly payroll.- Monitors system performance and analyze opportunities for process improvement.- Coordinates employee recognition programs and events.- Conducts recruitment of exempt and non-exempt personnel and temporary employees.- Maintains accurate and timely job postings.- Assists with the equal employment opportunity and affirmative action programs, with specific responsibilities to include reporting for EEO-1, VETS-100.- Assists in payroll processing for weekly and semi-monthly paid employees.- Able to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and professional discretion.- Other duties as assigned and ad hoc reporting as assigned by Human Resource Manager.**REQUIREMENTS**- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or in a related field.- Three - Five years of experience in Human Resources preferred.- Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced atmosphere.- Superior communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.- Must be able to handle multiple projects and priorities.- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems, applicant tracking systems preferred including Microsoft Word and Excel and database software.- Proven ability in areas of problem solving, independent decision making, and conflict resolution.- A proactive, creative, honest, and self-reliant personality, critical thinking, pragmatic & strong project management skills.
