**About the job**:
Ruby Labs is launching a shared services team, and we're seeking a seasoned Senior Product Owner to lead this initiative. This role goes beyond typical product management positions. You'll be at the helm of defining and structuring our processes, establishing objectives and key results (OKRs), and managing a multidisciplinary team comprising marketing, ad creative, data, and engineering professionals. Your team will operate as a 'team-as-a-service,' providing services to our portfolio companies. You'll be responsible for creating standardized workflows and efficiently managing the influx of service requests from all departments.
**Responsibilities**:
- ** Develop and Standardize Processes**: Design, implement, and refine standardized processes to ensure efficient and cohesive operations across all shared service functions.
- ** Lead and Manage Team**: Oversee a diverse team of marketing specialists, ad creatives, data, and low-code engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- ** Backlog Management**: Maintain a well-organized backlog of requests from various departments, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure timely execution.
- ** Requirement Gathering and Refinement**: Collect detailed requirements, refine them for clarity and feasibility, and align them with strategic business goals.
- ** Define and Communicate Roadmap**: Establish a clear roadmap for shared services, including key milestones, delivery timelines, and deadlines, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
- ** Oversee Deliveries**: Monitor progress and ensure the quality of all deliverables meets organizational standards.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**: Act as the main point of contact between the shared services team and other departments, ensuring transparency, alignment, and effective communication.
**Qualification**:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams, preferably within a shared services or similar environment.
- Strong ability to draft, implement, and standardize processes across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent at backlog management, prioritization, and requirement refinement.
- Capable of defining clear roadmaps and aligning team efforts with organizational objectives.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies relevant to marketing, design, and engineering processes.
