Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to support the validation process for Commodities Asset class onboarding to an Equity Derivatives Trading desk.

The candidate should have experience in capital markets, preferably in Commodities and/or Equity Derivatives.

This role involves working closely with an established client team to initiate and implement projects.


Responsibilities
  1. Resolve daily FO issues related to functional, valuation, and pricing.
  2. Address daily issues stemming from FO Equity Derivatives desk.
  3. Work closely with EQD Desk Traders to address issues.
  4. Amend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations.
  5. Resolve requests or issues related to P&L, Market Data, and booking.
  6. Analyze, formulate, propose, develop, and contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables.
  7. Liaise with technical teams when needed to resolve FO-related issues and necessary enhancements.
  8. Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables.
  9. Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation.
  10. Continuous follow-up of new market regulations/practices globally.
  11. Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables and participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
  12. Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong product knowledge: EQD, COM

Very strong understanding: FX, IRD business

Very Strong understanding: P&L concept overall and its components

Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience: Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle

Strong experience: Supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues

5+ years experience: Murex FO functionalities

4+ years experience: Financial markets role

SQL proficiency

Must have: Strong personality, logical and analytical skills

Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter

Possess good verbal and written communication skills

Must have strong organization skills
