The Team You'll Work With

Carta is looking for an Implementations Specialist to join the Enterprise team. This team is responsible for onboarding new corporate customers, gathering historical data, and working closely with engineering and product to improve the onboarding experience. You will be part of a team that is crucial in building strong, long-term relationships with new clients by ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation process.

The Problems You'll Solve

As an Implementations Specialist you will become an equity expert and you\'ll use your knowledge to inspire long-term client loyalty by consulting clients through the implementation process. This role is a fit for people that are hungry to learn and who can think creatively to find software solutions to both equity and user problems. Successful Implementations Specialists embrace change and constantly seek ways to better their process and their team.

Responsibilities
  • Support new clients and their law firms in "on-boarding" them onto Carta – i.e., implementation of client's capitalization table and securities on Carta
  • Manage large and complex datasets with high attention to detail
  • Coordinate and manage inputs needed from both the clients and their law firms
  • Maintain the quality of clients' data throughout the on-boarding process
  • Continuously look for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the on-boarding process
  • Work closely with product and engineering to improve the on-boarding experience for customers
About You
  • Proven success in a software implementations or customer onboarding role working directly with enterprise clients
  • Microsoft Excel Wizard; fluent in index matching, VLOOKUPS, & manipulating hundreds of lines of data
  • You are flexible, adaptive, and resilient
  • Great people skills – high degree of empathy and an ability to communicate information in a timely, appropriate manner to all relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to work as a team across multiple functional teams
  • Ability to deal with uncertainties and ambiguous situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality as required by customers
  • Ambitious, proactive, self-starter, competitive and resourceful
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of equity and capitalization (nice to have)
