Job Overview

Luxoft is a leading provider of end-to-end project services for the world's top financial institutions.

We have extensive experience in implementing, integrating, upgrading and migrating Calypso systems across various asset classes and sectors.

Our team provides support and additional build out for Calypso instances, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Address and respond to production support issues and troubleshoot issues arising from day-to-day activities in the Calypso instance.
  2. Provide support to FO and MO users on Calypso.
  3. Configure, update and optimize the functional setup in Calypso.
  4. Execute (where required) SOD/EOD Scheduled Tasks.
  5. Develop necessary functional solutions for the Calypso instance as per requirements (if required).
  6. Monitor if market quotes fail to update the Calypso system error messages.
  7. Monitor feed & security definitions download, if reprocessing of trades needed or reprocessing of events.
  8. Ensure supporting documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
  9. Work closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
  10. Submit status reports to stakeholders; coordinate and provide updates to steering committees.
  11. Collaborate with key functional or business stakeholders to achieve clear outcomes/deliverables in relation to the strategic and transformational book of work.
  12. Manage deliverables ensuring transparency of risks, issues and dependencies that are fully aligned to functional/business owners.
  13. You may also act as a business analyst to help the team gather and write requirements, acceptance criteria.

A Sampling of Key Tasks:

  1. Configuring Standard & Custom Interfaces within Calypso.
  2. Setting up Quote Feeds from Bloomberg.
  3. Setting up Holiday Calendar feed.
  4. Setting up Interest Rate Curves & other market data.
  5. Setting up Dividend Curves for Custom Index.
  6. Setting up Equity Volatility Surface feeds.
  7. Translating Historical Volatility of Volatility-controlled indexes to a Volatility Surface to be used in Calypso.
  8. Setting up pricing configuration & pricing parameters.
  9. Some end-of-day processing/monitoring needed.
