OverviewSenior Tax Analyst – Brazil is part of Baker Hughes. Our purpose is to advance energy safely, cleaner and more efficient for people and the planet. As Senior Tax Analyst – Brazil , you will be responsible for determining and minimizing the company's worldwide tax liability with the highest integrity while complying with worldwide tax laws. You should understand concepts, methods, procedures and approaches used in tax work. ResponsibilitiesExecute the tax compliance of indirect and direct tax for assigned legal entities/countries (ICMS, DIFAL, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, Local WHT, etc.) and its respective tax filings; handle complex or high-volume transactions. Execute the necessary accounting adjustments to ensure the filed tax position matches the tax balance sheet (account reconciliation). Fulfill tax trackers to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness. File Tax Asset Monetization with support of the Regional Tax Team. Liaise and collaborate with the broader tax organization and finance organization to ensure changes in taxes are recognized in ERPs and tax filings are updated. Proactively seek process improvements and automation. Support ad hoc projects as they arise. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in Brazil taxation compliance; in-house multinational or Big4 experience preferred. Fluent in Portuguese and able to conduct business in English when handling Brazilian jurisdiction. Experience with Oracle and/or SAP is required; OneSource and Blackline are a plus. Desirable CharacteristicsExperience with Oracle, SAP, OneSource and Blackline is advantageous.
