Job Overview The Infrastructure Automation Professional will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of public and hybrid cloud computing environments while ensuring robust security measures. This position is responsible for designing, engineering, and implementing infrastructure as code with an API-first and microservices-based approach. Key Responsibilities: Create cloud-agnostic infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management automation tools, adhering to CIS security standards for Windows and Linux operating systems. Develop REST APIs in Python using BDD methodology and implement public cloud security guardrails. Partner with application teams to drive proof-of-technology in public cloud computing environments and leverage continuous integration and delivery pipelines (CI/CD). Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for automation, building common frameworks in an agile manner to cultivate adoption across all layers. Required Skills The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in: Cloud-agnostic infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management automation. Configuration management tools such as Chef or similar. Python programming language, specifically REST APIs and BDD methodology. Kubernetes, PaaS databases, and hybrid cloud resources.
