Job Description We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our global support team. As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for remotely monitoring and troubleshooting our automated machinery at hatcheries worldwide. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the uptime and reliability of our control systems, while also participating in continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Required Skills and Qualifications Proven ability to troubleshoot PLCs remotely and interpret electrical schematics. Solid understanding of electro-mechanical systems, Ethernet networks, and industrial fieldbus protocols (EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, etc.). Familiarity with industrial control languages (ladder logic, structured text, function block) and HMI systems. Experience with tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical is a plus.
