Role Overview We are seeking a highly capable and commercially astute Regional Financial Controller to join our growing Group Finance team. This is a high‑visibility role responsible for full ownership of the financial oversight for one of our key regions – the UK, Europe, or the Rest of the World. You will act as the critical link between local finance teams and the Group Finance function while providing analysis, insights, and ensuring robust financial governance. Key Responsibilities Own the monthly financial close process for the assigned region, ensuring timely and accurate reporting from local entities. Analyze and explain variances against budget, prior periods, and forecasts, focusing on revenue movements and cost drivers. Contribute to Group‑level reporting by supporting the Head of Group Finance with internal and external reports for investors and the board. Provide holiday and absence cover for other Regional Financial Controllers, ensuring continuity. Drive continuous improvement in reporting quality and efficiency, and support the integration of any new acquisitions in the region. Key Experience & Skills Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with strong post‑qualification experience in a Financial Controller or Group Finance role. Prior experience within a multi‑entity, multinational organization. Proven exposure to group consolidation processes and IFRS reporting standards. Excellent analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to interpret and explain financial results clearly. Bonus: Advanced Excel skills and experience with consolidation/reporting tools.
