Browse our Legal and Finance team openings to see how you can make an impact with us.**About the Team**:- Shopee's Business Strategy department is constantly solving problems and introducing innovative solutions to enhance growth and platform reach, improve revenue and boost bottom-line results.- Our team sit at the core of business strategy and planning and collaborate with most of business areas to define overall strategy and key initiatives for improvement. We project the impact of the initiatives and strategy on a long-term planning of P&L results (budgeting of revenue, costs, and expenses). We dive deep into complex problem-solving (quantitative and qualitative), modeling, operational and strategic discussions, and decision-making.- Similar to a strategy consultancy within Shopee, support the leadership of Shopee to answer strategic questions.- Understand the landscape of ecommerce and think about what Shopee needs to do to to grow faster and be more profitable.- Structure problems and propose solutions through the development of models / business cases.- Follow the performance being achieved throughout implementation (performed by other teams) against the model to propose improvements and optimizations.- Build complex models over all areas of the company, focusing on designing long-term P&L and understanding the return and investment required.**Requirements**:- Great problem-solving and modelling skills (identifying key problem to be solved, structuring approach, developing analysis, extracting insights etc).- Proactive and independent attitude (seeking for improvement opportunities in your own activities, developing work with little guidance and high accuracy etc).- Advanced or Fluent English (in this position you would interact with both Brazilian and foreign Shopee employees).
