The Analyst, Sales Strategy & Operations professional will play a crucial role in supporting the explosive growth of Salesforce in LATAM. This role is hybrid of traditional jobs in strategic planning, sales operations, finance, and analysis - requiring a mix of market analysis, sales optimization and business operational support.
Success in this role means assisting our LATAM sales group to drive our growth strategy. Sample projects range from the strategic to the very operational including evaluating market opportunities, creating the product growth strategy, business planning, market segmentation, sales pipeline analysis and regular review of key performance metrics.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations
- Design and interpret key performance metrics
- Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives
- Support strategic initiatives
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/ processes to fix root causes
- Prepare analysis and recommendations for strategic decision making
- Design, build, and implement an analytic infrastructure for looking at our business.
- Perform thorough analysis to support any recommendations you make, working with existing analytical resources and dong the heavy lifting yourself.
- Sell your recommendations to the executive management through exceptional presentation, tangible quantitative explanation, and mastery of qualitative factors that complement the numbers
- Analyze the health of the business and interpret key leading indicators and performance metrics
- Craft plans to address pronounced weaknesses or areas of opportunity
- Assist in the development of GTM strategy, including evaluation and on-going ad-hoc reporting as needed.
**Desired Skills/Experience**:
- 1-2 years of work experience in Consulting, Finance or Strategy and Operations role
- Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
- Exceptional cross functional leadership skills and experience partnering with cross-functional teams
- Creativity and strategic thinking - and the agility necessary to master both the daily hands-on analysis and the big picture strategy
- Able to communicate clearly, effectively to senior executives
- Diplomatic and discrete
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency
- Superior skills in analytical and presentation tools such as Excel and PPT
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, and/or Business Objects (or similar analytical packages) a plus
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
