Primary Purpose of the Role:

The primary purpose of the Project Management role is to lead, oversee, and ensure the successful delivery and management of one or multiple projects within defined scope, quality, time, and cost constraints. This may involve clearly defined projects or projects requiring dynamic change management to deliver business value.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver projects under the defined IT Framework, ensuring each gate is approved and project deliverables are met on time, scope, and budget.
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle in collaboration with the project sponsor.
  • Manage communication and documentation procedures, including maintaining a central project file in SharePoint.
  • Ensure proper project initiation with a business case and necessary approvals.
  • Analyze proposals, determine time frames, funding, and processes.
  • Schedule and coordinate project activities, milestones, and resources.
  • Provide daily direction to the technical team and weekly status updates to stakeholders.
  • Establish work plans, staffing, and resource negotiation.
  • Implement communication and risk mitigation plans.
  • Manage project scope changes, crises, and contingency plans.
  • Define success criteria and communicate them throughout the project.
  • Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members and contractors.
  • Build and maintain vital business relationships.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and create recommendations.

Requerimentos:

  • Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business administration, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) is required.
  • At least seven (7) years of direct experience as a project manager in a corporate IT environment within medium to large organizations under a PMO.
  • Expertise in IT security technologies, embedded security, and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills for complex data interpretation.
  • Experience managing similar projects is a plus.
