L2 Engineers with strong Kubernetes and/or DevOps with strong Kubernetes.
Job Summary: The Level Two (2) Support Agent will be a skilled specialist with deep product or service knowledge who can analyze and resolve more complex technical issues and their root causes.
Note: must have a strong background with Kubernetes .
Responsibilities:
- Must have strong experience with Kubernetes.
- Manage Level 1-2 tickets and troubleshooting.
- Assess and resolve more complex issues requiring greater specialization (e.g., on architectural design, scalability, efficiency, and reliability). Provide solutions covering the full product portfolio.
- Manage escalations to Level three (3) support as necessary, which may be Google's GDC support team.
- Proactively collect requirements and design team processes and work streams to address specific temporary support program needs.
- System design, including integration with multiple other systems.
- Identify significant technical problems in existing systems and identify multiple possible solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of platform offerings and architecture to advise customers on best practices and assist them with optimizing their cloud architecture.
- Act as a point of contact and subject matter expert between the IO and Google to resolve technical customer obstacles.
- Work non-standard work hours or shifts.
