RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design, development, and training of machine learning models using Google's AI stack including AI Agent Studio, Gemini, and Vertex AI Direct and support cross‑functional teams in creating AI solutions such as a Sales team assistant and document base analyzer Oversee the seamless integration of trained machine learning models into the existing toolset Mentor team members in writing and maintaining clean, efficient code in Python and ideally in Java Supervise the continuous evaluation and enhancement of deployed models to meet the evolving demands of the business Keep the team updated with the latest AI / ML technologies and methodologies, promoting ongoing innovation REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience in ML / AI Engineering 1+ years of leadership experience Extensive experience in training and deploying machine learning models using Google's AI stack (AI Agent Studio, Gemini, Vertex AI) Expert programming skills in Python Proven track record in leading the integration of ML models into software environments and toolsets Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities Excellent skills in managing and collaborating with cross‑functional teams Superior communication skills for effectively articulating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders NICE TO HAVE Experience in Java Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred WE OFFER International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Healthcare benefits Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award‑winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn #J-18808-Ljbffr
