Find your future with us.**Boeing Brazil** is seeking **Senior Manager Mechanical Systems Engineering**, reporting to the Engineering Director Boeing Brazil, working out of the **Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil** office. The **Senior Manager Mechanical System Engineering** will lead high-performing engineering teams providing a variety of technical solutions and complex project oversight in support of existing and future products.**Position Responsibilities**:- Manage employees and mid-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering for multiple Boeing products.- Efficient management of the team through the delegation of authority and responsibility to team members and holding them accountable for performance in regards to product development, schedule, and quality.- Develops and executes integrated plans, policies and procedures and provides input on business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.- Applies Engineering Best Practices to ensure delivery of first time quality for engineering data.- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.- Position requires close coordination and teaming with other internal and external Engineering teams.**Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.****Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:- Experience in Mechanical Systems Engineering- Experience leading teams- Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English- Must be legally able to work in Brazil**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:- Prior Management experience- Experience in Payloads (Interiors) Engineering- Experience supporting Commercial Aftermarket Modifications- Knowledge of FAA Regulations- Knowledge of Boeing 15.4 Certification Processes- Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation**Relocation**:**Additional Information**:Please also submit a CV or resume written in English.**Equal Opportunity Employer**:Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
