Find your future with us.**Boeing Brazil** is seeking **Systems Engineering Manager**, reporting to the Systems Engineering Senior Manager, working out of the **Sao Jose dos Campos** office.The **Systems Engineering Manager** will join the Boeing Brazil Design Center leadership team and will have non-management direct reports. This position will develop and enhance our Systems Engineering functional excellence, transforming systems engineering across our design environments on our commercial airplane programs.**Position Responsibilities**:- Leads Systems Engineering teams supporting architecture development, requirements definition, verification and validation.- Acquires resources for functional activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvement efforts.- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.- Interacts frequently and forges strategic cross-functional and cross-organizational partnerships with internal and external management and senior-level representatives, stakeholders, peers, partners and teammates to execute work statement, reduce project risk, resolve challenges, improve processes and achieve goals.- Develops and executes project and process plans; implement policies and procedures and set operational goals.- Provides on-going developmental feedback. Promotes employee recognition and builds a departmental culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.- Ensures engineering team is properly sized with right skills to perform dynamic statement of work, through hiring, loaned labor, and building relationships with international business partners.In this role, the leader manages, develops and motivates employees. Responsible for managing daily operation of the work team. Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Actively involved in daily operations when required to meet schedule or resolve complex problems.
