As an **Engineering Manager **in the Hardware team, you'll play a key part in driving our engineering roadmap, developing highly scalable systems to create a unified sales & order experience for all our merchants.

**What you'll do**:
- Be part of the hardware tribe, working with a global and multicultural team to build the future of payments acceptance products that are being used around the world.
- Create an environment for your cross-functional teams of backend, frontend and QAs to excel.
- Collaborate with the Product Managers to shape team's strategy and provide a long-term vision and guidance
- Be responsible for the delivery of that vision and help define, plan, and drive large-scale products from start to finish
- Help the team to improve delivery and operational processes
- Support the growth of your team members by providing continuous feedback, discussing development goals and helping with career development plans
- Engage and raise your team's engineering culture
**You'll be great for this role if**:
- You have 2+ years of experience in leading, growing and developing engineering teams with relevant track records around team development, happiness and performance
- You have experience building scalable, robust, and transactional systems and found your calling in engineering management
- You are familiar with microservices architecture, event-driven design, RESTful APIs and functional programming languages
- You're constantly on the lookout for opportunities to experiment and improve our way of working, including hiring great talent
- You are enthusiastic about QA practices and software engineering processes, with relevant track records, by bringing more practices, techniques and technologies to the teams
- You are a humble, servant, and caring leader
