The Opportunity

The Solution Support Group is a global team responsible for providing 24x7 upgrade support of the company's Cloud, SaaS, ASP, and hosted solutions. Those who excel in this role have the willingness and ability to jump in and learn new technologies as well as move between them quickly. We attract engineers with tenacity, exceptional diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, and those looking to contribute to a corporate critical initiative. You’ll have an opportunity to work with a diverse set of enabling platform technologies, supporting FICO’s most critical clients.

What You’ll Contribute
  1. Support the full stack of Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and hosted web-based applications.
  2. Assist with the operations and stability of the environments in accordance with established procedures and best practices, while contributing to continuous improvement within those processes and procedures.
  3. Drive incidents to resolution during scheduled upgrade activities and tasks.
  4. Implement, monitor, refresh, and perform tasks on select/key Platform solutions.
  5. Solution Deployment and Promotion.
  6. Solution Technical Regression Testing (post upgrade).
  7. Solution Technical Performance Validation/Testing/Sizing (post-upgrade).
  8. Solution Change Management (deployments, patches, upgrades).
  9. Solution Monitoring (setup and alerting from solution, bureaus).
  10. Solution Incident Investigation and Resolution.
  11. Solution related OEM Support L2 & L3 of the Solution.
What We’re Seeking
  1. Ambitious and self-driven individual with proven experience working platform, SaaS, and component solutions.
  2. Entry level knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  3. Knowledge of web technologies (JBoss, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, OpenAM).
  4. Outsystems a plus.
  5. Working knowledge of relational database systems – MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle 11 and Oracle RAC.
  6. Working knowledge of LDAP design, implementation, and networking.
  7. Exposure to administering multi-platform operating system environments (Windows and LINUX).
  8. Familiarity with ITIL standards and technologies (ServiceNow).
  9. Scripting/programming experience in Puppet, Powershell, PERL, Python or UNIX Shell a plus.
