Job Title: Calypso Functional Specialist

This role is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Calypso functional specialist. As a key member of the implementation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and providing exceptional support to our customers.

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with expertise in Calypso system configuration, updates, and optimization. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and update functional setup in Calypso system
  • Execute SOD/EOD scheduled tasks where required
  • Develop necessary functional solutions for Calypso instance as per requirements
  • Monitor market quotes failure and system error messages
  • Ensure supporting documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Work closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working in capital markets and Calypso system
  • Good knowledge of financial products cross-assets
  • Expertise with front-to-back Calypso derivatives solution, including accounting, is essential
  • Ability to work with little supervision, be a fast learner, self-motivated, team player, and collaborator with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be resourceful and demonstrate initiative in getting the job done
  • Good oral and written communication skills are essential
