Job Title

Calypso Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Calypso Accounting Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a comprehensive approach to defining, setting up, and troubleshooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on greenfield Calypso instances.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, deep understanding of financial products, and proven experience in delivering accounting and finance related solutions within Calypso.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a comprehensive approach to defining, setting up, and troubleshooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on greenfield Calypso instances
  • Develop necessary solutions to Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements
  • Create and deliver assigned projects / tasks and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Manage deliverables ensuring transparency of risks, issues and dependencies that are fully aligned to functional / business owners
  • Collaborate with key functional or business stakeholders to achieve clear outcomes/deliverables in relation to the strategic and transformational book of work
Requirements

Experience: 2+ years working in Capital Markets and on Calypso

Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, deep understanding of financial products, trade flow, trading systems, valuation, and client/market risk management

Skills: Excellent analytical skills, planning, problem solving, decision-making, direct communication, organizational and time management skills, and experience working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment
