Role Overview As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Reventals, you’ll be at the front lines of customer and vendor engagement. You’ll handle inbound inquiries from carts, emails, phone calls, and chats—helping customers navigate the rental process and ensuring their needs are met. You’ll also collaborate with vendors to coordinate orders and maintain smooth, timely transactions. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement : Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries from carts, phone calls, chats, and emails. Vendor Coordination : Liaise between customers and Reventals vendors to ensure accurate quotes, seamless transactions, and timely deliveries. Order Support : Guide customers through the rental process from inquiry to confirmation, providing clear information and empathetic assistance. Issue Resolution : Identify and troubleshoot customer or vendor concerns, escalating when necessary. CRM Management : Log and track all customer activity in Hub Spot with accuracy. Collaboration : Work closely with the Rev Ops and Customer Success teams to streamline workflows and ensure excellent service. Feedback Loop : Gather customer and vendor feedback to improve processes and enhance the overall platform experience. Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date on our platform, vendor network, and industry best practices. What We’re Looking For Excellent Communication : Clear, empathetic, and professional across phone, email, and chat. Customer-Centric Mindset : Genuine desire to help customers and vendors succeed. Adaptability : Quick to learn and flexible in a fast-changing environment. Detail-Oriented : Able to juggle multiple inquiries while maintaining accuracy. Tech-Savvy : Comfortable navigating digital tools and CRM systems. Independent & Accountable : Can take ownership of tasks from start to finish with minimal guidance. Team Player : Collaborative and motivated to contribute to shared goals. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, sales, or business development. Familiarity with CRM tools such as Hub Spot. Experience in a startup or Agile environment. Understanding of the event rental industry (preferred, not required).
