Position Overview TikTok is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to join our Sao Paulo office. In this role, you will manage AR related activities and improve debt collection processes across the LATAM region. Company Overview ByteDance is a global incubator of platforms at the cutting edge of commerce, content, entertainment, and enterprise services. Over 2.5 billion people interact with ByteDance products, including TikTok. Review finance clauses in customer contracts, especially their financial terms. Process refunds, top‑ups, and other financial transactions to ensure compliance. Support the monthly billing process and ensure timely, accurate invoicing. Follow up with clients to secure payment on the due date. Respond to client disputes and information requests. Execute debt collection activities for an assigned portfolio of customers in a dedicated region. Enable agreement of customer repayment plans and monitor action plan progress. Manage the process to suspend customer services in case of continued non‑payment, in line with TikTok’s disconnection procedure. Collaborate with other TikTok teams to resolve issues impacting cash collection or customer satisfaction. Maintain liaison with Sales, Operations, and Finance departments and recommend process improvements to reduce credit risk and lower DSO. Participate in internal team meetings, cross‑functional collaboration, bad debt reporting, and collection agency activities. Qualifications Experience in AR related activities; familiarity with the digital advertising industry is a plus. Excellent communication skills. English fluency required for communication with external stakeholders. Good analytical and interpersonal skills.
