Senior Tax Advisor

Temu's tax team ensures compliance with local and international tax laws, optimizing the company's tax position. We handle tax planning, reporting, and risk management, working closely with other departments to drive efficiencies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage direct and indirect taxes, ensuring compliance with current legislation and optimizing the tax burden
- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, IRPJ/CSLL
- Monitor tax compliance processes and work closely with internal accounting and finance teams
- Manage and respond to federal, state, and municipal tax audits, coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities
- Analyze changes in Brazilian tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law. Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred
- Solid experience in direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning; knowledge of Transfer Pricing and attendance to external audits
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with different stakeholders
