Procurement Specialist The Procurement Specialist is responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from initial market research to vendor selection, negotiation, implementation, and renewal. Contract Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution from market research to vendor selection, negotiation, implementation, and renewal. Negotiation Strategy: Develop high-level negotiation strategies with vendors to establish favorable commercial terms, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), performance metrics (KPIs), and contractual conditions. Market Intelligence: Conduct continuous market research to identify trends, new suppliers, and innovations in logistics and labor sectors, aiming for optimization opportunities. Vendor Partnership: Foster strong relationships with 3PL partners, actively monitoring their performance and driving continuous improvement. Cost Optimization: Analyze expenditures, identify, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service levels. Risk Mitigation: Assess risks associated with contracts (operational, financial, compliance) and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with regulations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Operations, Legal, Finance, HR) to align procurement strategies with the company's overall objectives. Performance Evaluation: Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate vendor performance, such as efficiency, accuracy, and safety. Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all contracts and operations are in full compliance with labor laws, industry regulations, and internal company policies.
