❄️ We’re Hiring – Snowflake Lead Developer (Azure & ADF) Location: Remote in Brazil Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 7–10 years total experience | 2–3 years hands-on Snowflake About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Lead Developer with strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and data engineering best practices . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing scalable data architectures, building ETL/ELT pipelines, and optimizing complex SQL workloads within cloud-based environments. You will play a key role in leading Snowflake development, implementing data transformation logic, and ensuring high-quality data delivery for analytics and reporting. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and optimization of data solutions within Snowflake . Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) . Design and implement data models, schemas, and stored procedures (SnowProc, SnowSQL) to support complex business logic and transformations. Write efficient, high-performing SQL queries for data integration and analytics. Collaborate with architects and data engineers to define data architecture and governance standards . Implement robust error handling, monitoring, and logging mechanisms for data pipelines. Support CICD implementation using Git/Bitbucket and Visual Studio for code versioning and deployment. Work closely with onsite teams and provide production support when required. Apply data engineering best practices , ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Optional: Utilize Airflow or Control-M for workflow orchestration and scheduling. Required Skills & Experience 7–10 years of overall experience in data engineering or BI development. 2–3 years of strong hands-on experience in Snowflake (data architecture, analytics, and development). Mastery of SQL — deep experience writing optimized, complex queries in large-scale environments. Expertise in SnowProc and SnowSQL , including writing Snowflake stored procedures and scripts for transformations. Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestrating data pipelines. Proficiency in IICS (Informatica Cloud) for data extraction, transformation, and loading into Snowflake. Familiarity with data integration, modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices . Hands-on experience with CICD pipelines , version control (Git/Bitbucket), and Visual Studio . Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Willingness to work flexible hours to coordinate with global teams. Nice to Have Knowledge of Airflow or Control-M for workflow scheduling. Experience working in implementation and support projects. Exposure to data governance, metadata management, or cloud cost optimization .
